ABOUT SHIFT
Grand Haven
At SHIFT Grand Haven, we’re committed to helping people achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health by focusing on what’s really driving their symptoms—not just masking them.
As a locally owned franchise serving the West Michigan community, our goal is to bring a more thoughtful, personalized approach to wellness. We believe people deserve answers, direction, and a plan that actually works—not another temporary solution.
Our focus is simple: help you regain control of your health and maintain it for the long run.
HOW WE Work
No two people are the same, which is why your care plan shouldn’t be either.
At SHIFT Grand Haven, we take a deeper look at your health through advanced testing, detailed evaluations, and one-on-one guidance. From there, we build a customized strategy that may include hormone support, peptide therapies, nutrition adjustments, and sustainable lifestyle changes.
- We commonly work with individuals dealing with:
- Low energy and ongoing fatigue
- Difficulty losing weight
- Hormonal disruptions
- Mental fog and mood challenges
Everything we do is designed to support your overall well-being—physically, mentally, and metabolically—so you can experience steady, long-term progress instead of short-lived results.

OUR MISSION & Approach
SHIFT’s mission is to deliver real results through personalized, root-cause functional medicine that empowers our patients to take control of their health for life.
We go beyond symptom management and short-term fixes. Through advanced labs, hormone support, peptide therapy, and clear lifestyle strategies, we help patients build lasting habits that improve their physical, emotional, and metabolic health, not just medically, but holistically.
Our goal isn’t just to help you feel better, it’s to help you stay better.

A BETTER APPROACH TO Healthcare
Many people are used to quick appointments, limited testing, and treatment plans that only address surface-level symptoms.
We take a different path.
By using a functional medicine model, we evaluate how different systems in your body interact and influence one another. This allows us to identify underlying imbalances and create a targeted plan that aligns with your specific needs and goals.
It’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what actually works for you.
LOCAL OWNERSHIP, PERSONAL Mission
SHIFT Grand Haven is owned and operated by Leigh and Rich Lohman, who are proud to bring this approach to the West Michigan community.
Leigh’s connection to this work comes from personal experience. After navigating her own challenges with hormonal health, energy, and finding the right support, she understands how frustrating and isolating that journey can be.
That perspective shapes everything about this location.
Together, Leigh and Rich are focused on creating an environment where people feel heard, supported, and confident in their path forward. Their goal is to make high-quality, personalized wellness care more accessible to the community they call home.

FOUNDER’S Story
“I created SHIFT because I lived it. After years of dealing with PCOS, hormone imbalances, infertility, fatigue, and the endless cycle of band-aid medicine, I knew there had to be a better way. Functional medicine changed my life, and I wanted to bring that same level of care to the people walking through our gym doors every day, asking for help.
I’m not a doctor. I’m a patient, a business owner, a mom, and someone who’s been where they are, trying to perform at a high level while feeling like something’s broken under the surface.
SHIFT is the clinic I wish existed 10 years ago. So I built it.”
